Quran tafsir in the Hausa language
Hausa Tafsir is a Quranic application that aims to provide explanations of the meanings of the Holy Quran in the Hausa language, one of the most widely spoken languages in Africa, with approximately 150 million speakers worldwide. The app focuses on enabling Hausa-speaking users to understand the Quran and reflect upon its meanings in their native language, while respecting the linguistic and cultural context of the target community. The application offers a comprehensive tafsir of the Holy Quran, including: - General introduction for each surah covering its name and the reason for its revelation. - Division of surah verses into thematic sections. - Translation of verse meanings, their interpretation, and derived lessons.
