Memorization of Quran and Hadith
Elmohafez is an application designed to support the memorization of the Holy Quran, Hadith, and classical Islamic texts through a learning approach based on listening, recording, and self-assessment. The app provides a suitable digital environment for individual learners as well as for educational use in memorization circles and classrooms, with a clear focus on developing memorization skills and maintaining consistent review. The application relies on an interactive workflow in which users select a text, read or listen to it from a reciter, then record their own recitation while the text is hidden. The text is then displayed again and the recording is played back to allow comparison and correction. The app also enables users to track memorization progress by surah in the Quran, or by book and text in Hadith and classical works, with the ability to revisit recordings at any time. Elmohafez supports the Quran in the Uthmani script with multiple canonical readings, offering more than 20 narrations and 15 reciters, in addition to a color-coded Tajwid Mushaf. It also includes major Hadith collections such as Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, as well as classical educational texts such as Tuhfat al-Atfal, Al-Shatibiyyah, Al-Jazariyyah, Al-Bayquniyyah, and others, with progress tracking at the level of books, chapters, and sections. The application further provides supportive tools for memorization and review, including: - Instant search. - Repetition of verses, hadiths, or texts. - Audio listening with word highlighting during recitation. - Trusted tafsir sources and translations of Qur’anic meanings in multiple languages. - The ability to create multiple completion plans (for memorization, reflection, or review), with customizable notifications.
