Study Quran

Study Quran is a comprehensive application dedicated to the study of the Holy Quran and its related sciences. It is designed for students of the Quran and those interested in tafsir, reflection (tadabbur), rhetoric, and similar verses (mutashabihat). The app combines rich scholarly content with practical tools that help users move from recitation to understanding, contemplation, and application. The application includes more than 35 editions of the Holy Quran, featuring different print editions, the Ten Qira’at, the Madinah Mushaf, the Mushaf of Similar Verses, as well as other recognized versions and approved translations in multiple languages. Study Quran also offers a wide range of reflective content, such as contemplative reflections, rhetorical insights, rulings and etiquettes, and practical suggestions for acting upon the verses, with special treatment of the topic of similar verses. The app includes an audio library with recitations by more than 20 reciters, along with the ability to select specific passages, repeat verses, and control recitation speed. The application serves as a gateway to approximately 25 well-known tafsir works, including Tafsir al-Sa‘di, al-Qurtubi, Ibn Kathir, al-Jalalayn, al-Wajiz, and others. Some tafsir works are available as downloadable audio recordings, while others include links to YouTube videos. The app documents its tafsir sources by citing the reference for each verse. Study Quran also allows users to customize page display settings, including font size, font color, and reading background, as well as selecting the font size for tafsir text. It supports sharing verses, tafsir content, translations, and video clips via social media platforms, making it a comprehensive tool for individual and group learning and study.
