AlKitab is an advanced digital experience for reading the Holy Quran, combining the display of the Mushaf with tools for understanding and revision within a modern, user-focused design. The application is intended for those who wish to read, memorize, and track their progress using technology-powered tools supported by AI. The application offers multiple display modes for the Mushaf, including the Madinah Mushaf, a printed book simulation mode, and a large-font mode. For linguistic understanding, users can tap on a verse to view its Tafsir and switch between different Tafsir sources. Tapping on any word reveals its meaning, grammatical analysis (i‘rab), morphological structure, related qira’at, and pronunciation. The application also displays word derivations and the locations where the word appears in the Quran through visual charts. AlKitab incorporates smart tools to support memorization and revision, including: - Voice-tracked recitation with automatic scrolling. - Hiding verses during revision to test memorization. - Repetition mode for a verse after listening to it. - Synchronization of bookmarks and last reading position across devices. The application also supports downloading recitations for offline listening and provides comprehensive, fast search powered by an advanced engine, along with intelligent voice search and precise word-level access.
